

Darrell Keith Clark, 78, of Independence, MO passed away at his home on Thursday, June 2, 2011. Visitation will be at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel on Monday, June 6th from 6-8pm with Rosary at 7:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial held at 11am on Tuesday at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church (10010 E. 40 HWY, Indep.) with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Keith was born on February 18, 1933 in Kansas City, MO. He attended East High School and was a lifelong area resident. Keith served with the US Coast Guard from 1953-1955. He was a member of the Local 1179 Carpet, Linoleum & Resilient Floor Decorators from 1959 until his retirement in 1993. Keith was a most dependable person who could fix anything. He was a quiet man who loved nice cars and NASCAR. Keith’s home was his castle and he loved his family dearly. Keith was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife off 55 years, Patricia Fredrick-Clark; his children, Gregory Clark (Vicki), Kimberly Campbell, Christopher Clark, Brian Clark (Debra) & Kelly Cook (Troy); 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and a sister, Darolyn Cross.
