She was born November 1, 1937 in Missouri to James and Gladys Lahue and had four siblings.
Jimmy Carroll, Betty, John and Peggy.
She was married to Jerry Wester retired military for 43 wonderful years and together they enjoyed travelling in their younger years.
She retired from Kansas City Southern Railroad after many long years as a Data Clerk.
After retirement she volunteered at her grandsons elementary school and enjoyed mentoring future generations.
She really enjoyed crafting especially needle pointing making some beautiful works of art.
She also enjoyed spending time playing bingo, playing cards, and most importantly watching the Chiefs with her friends she made at Elliott Place.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Wester, her parents James and Gladys Lahue, her siblings Jimmy Carroll and Elizabeth Englund.
She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Caffey, grandson Larry Caffey, sister Peggy Cox, brother John Lahue( Sharon) along with many extended family members.
She will be greatly missed by the family and friends that she touched with her friendship, love, wisdom and overall generosity.
