A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 5:30PM to 7:00PM, with a Rosary Service at 7:00PM, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Rd., Kansas City, MO 64119.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 10:00AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 900 NE Shady Lane Dr., Kansas City, MO 64119 with Fr. Don Farnan officiating.
Burial will follow services in Resurrection Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
Deb was born in Corning, IA to Nancy Jo (Moore) and James L. Watt on April 24, 1957. She went to Oak Park High School and graduated in 1976.
She married Joseph Parnacott on July 1st 1988 in Gladstone, Missouri.
Deb was a stay at home mom who devoted herself to caring for her family. Later, she worked as an Adventure Club Associate Teacher in the Park Hill School District for 5 years. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and her new role as a stay at home dog mom. Some of their favorite memories include all the meals, celebrations and vacations she planned and prepared for her family and the dedication she showed to her Wednesday evening figure drawing sessions and her different groups of school, coffee shop and church friends.
Deb was an active member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish for over 30 years where she was involved with faith formation, religious education and Boy Scouting. She was involved in PTA as a member, volunteer and officer throughout the duration of her children’s education in the North Kansas City School District. She received a Lifetime membership in the Missouri PTA.
Deb is preceded in death by her mother Nancy Jo (Moore) Watt. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Joseph Parnacott; children, sons Christopher W. Parnacott and Timothy J. Parnacott , daughter Margaret Nancy Parnacott, Brothers Patrick L Watt and Michael R Watt; father James L. Watt; uncle Robert R. Moore and aunt Lynn A. Moore.
Pallbearers will be Gerard Parnacott, Timothy Parnacott, Thomas Parnacott, Jeffrey Peak, Riley Peak and Samuel Angelo.
