
Dennis Gerard Muller, 83, of Kansas City, MO died August 20, 2010. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 26, 2010, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Meyer Blvd and Holmes. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at McGilley Midtown Chapel at Linwood Blvd and Main. Burial will be Friday morning with Military Honors in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd. The family request contributions to a charity of your choice.
Dennis was born December 23, 1926 in St. Mary’s, KS to Herman James and Cecilia Ann (Cunningham) Muller. He attended Sacred Heart Grade School and graduated from Capitol Catholic High (now Haden High), both in Topeka, KS. He graduated from St. Louis University in1952 with his degree in jurisprudence.
As a Navy veteran of WWII, Dennis was stationed in the Aleutian Islands as a Radio Technician, 2nd Class. He moved to Kansas City and began his general law practice, and was practicing at the time of his death. He was a member of the American Bar Association, the National Lawyers Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar, and was always involved in the Commercial Law Committees.
Dennis worked as a lay delegate to the Missouri Catholic Conference on Education in Jefferson City. He was one of the founding members of the East Meyer Community Association in which he was actively involved for 27 years. He was a lector and Eucharistic minister at St Peter’s Church. He was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

Dennis was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Christine, one brother, James L. Muller, and one sister, Doris Mae Ahrens.
His survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mabelle L. Muller of the home; his daughter, Bridget A. Luckey of Independence, MO; three sons, John G. Muller of San Antonio, TX, Patrick H. Muller and Damian M. Muller, both of Kansas City, MO, and their families; a brother, Cleo H. Muller of Blue Springs, MO, a sister, Margaret Mary Muller of Lee’s Summit, MO; 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
