Dennis Dale Roberts

We are sad to announce that we had to say goodbye to Dennis Dale Roberts, 74, of Blue Springs, Missouri. Dennis was born on July 15, 1948, in Independence, Missouri to Billy and Irma Roberts and entered into heavenly rest on Friday, November 25, 2022, with family and close friends by his side.

Dennis spent much of his life around cars and racing where he raced stock cars, sprint cars, midgets, and go-carts. He helped his family as a Pit Manager at I-70 Speedway, was the owner of Little Roberts Auto Salvage, part-owner of Moberly Speedway, and a Race Promoter. His passion was riding his Harley Davidson, taking trips with friends and family, and enjoying the open road. He also enjoyed playing pool, cards, and spending time with loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his father Billy Roberts, his wife Joyce Roberts, and brother Dan Roberts.

He is survived by his mother Irma Roberts of Blue Springs, Missouri, his siblings Randy Roberts (Jean) of Blue Springs, Missouri, Patty Schultz (Gerry) of Grain Valley, Missouri; his sons Dennis Roberts Jr. (Dawnelle) of Greenwood, Missouri, and Kent Roberts (Pamela) of Blue Springs, Missouri; his grandchildren Kole Roberts, Blake Roberts, Dillon Roberts, Allison Cardell (Will), Alexis Roberts, and Andrew O’Dell; and his great grandchildren Colton Roberts and Sophia O'Dell. He is also survived by many loving friends and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2nd, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer’s Floral Hills Funeral Home (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133) A funeral service will be held on Friday December 2nd, 2022, from 7:00PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022, at the Floral Hills Cemetery (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133
