DOLORES J. “LOLA” MILLER Jan. 25, 1933-Sept. 15, 2016 Lola, age 83, passed away Thursday morning at Lakewood Care Center. Visitation 6-8PM on Thursday, Sept. 22 at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at 11AM on Friday, Sept. 23, at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 10017 E 36th Ter, Independence. Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Lola grew up in Independence, MO, attending St. Anne’s Grade School and Glennon High School. She worked a variety of jobs throughout her life, notably at the Civic Plaza National Bank and the VA hospital. Lola enjoyed watching football, playing the slots at the casinos, and playing Bingo. She leaves her brother Dr. Manuel P. Berriozabal and sister-in-law Maria Berriozabal of San Antonio, TX; as well as her daughters Diane L. Taylor of Independence and Charlene A. Sherman of Lee’s Summit; grandson John R. Taylor of Independence; son-in-law Steve Sherman of Lee’s Summit. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G.
