Dolores A. Schroeder

'Life long resident of Gladstone, Mo, Dolores A Schroeder, devoted wife of Herman A Schroeder (deceased) passed quietly in her sleep on Sunday, December 7, 2014. Dolores was born on June 16, 1924 in Westphalia, MO.

She is survived by her five children: Sharon Schroeder of San Francisco CA, Susan Schroeder of Olathe, KS, Jo Slovek of Willets, CA, Jan Maughmer and Tom Schroeder of Kansas City Mo, and son-in-law the Honorable Judge John Maughmer of Kansas City, MO. Dolores was a loving Grandmother to 10 grandchildren, who she encouraged in their many accomplishments in their formative years and 12 great grandchildren, who will sadly miss her loving touch. She will be fondly remembered for creating a beautiful home environment for her family and friends. Her love of shopping was evident in fashionable personal tastes.

Dolores was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 11:00am with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to participate in the ceremony. Viewing prior to the mass at the church starting at 10:00am Monday. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Crossroads Hospice. "We wish her peace and a joyful reunion with deceased loved ones in her passing."
