Donald W. Conway, 87, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away July 24, 2011, at Sunrise of Overland Park. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South. Friends may call 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Don was born August 5, 1923 in Moberly, Missouri, son of Frank and Gladys (Noel) Conway. He worked 34 years at AT&T. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Overland Park, Kansas. Don was a United States Army veteran, serving two tours of duty. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Elizabeth "Beth" (Niemann) Conway in 2000. He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Rick and Barb Conway of Olathe, Kansas, Mike and Mary Conway of Dallas, Texas, and Bob and Connie Conway of Scottsdale, Arizona; one grandson, two granddaughters; and one half-sister and one half-brother both of California.
