Don was born April 16, 1944 to Donald Rice and Mary Ann (Kiesel) Dunlop in Kansas City, MO. He was a 1962 graduate of St. Pius X High School, Kansas City. Don was a U.S. Navy veteran of 20 years and lived in San Diego, CA where he had also been employed with the San Diego Sherriff’s Department. Don moved to Liberty in 2006.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dennis Antone Dunlop; and step-daughter, Darci Glimpse.
Survivors include a daughter, Dawn Raschelle Dunlop of San Diego; 4 siblings, Katherine Ann Aldridge of Kansas City, Thomas Michael (Marlene) Dunlop of Kansas City, Mary Beth Mango of Kansas City, Teresa L. Price of Kansas City; 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Contributions in Don’s name are suggested to St. Pius X High School. Per Don’s instructions there will be no services and his ashes will be scattered at sea.
