Dorothy F. Cooper, 87, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015. She was born and raised in Colwich, KS. Dorothy was one of twelve children born to John and Elizabeth (Betzen) Stockemer. She was married on June 14, 1952 to Joseph E. Cooper. She was a proud mother and homemaker.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in June, 1976. She is survived by her sons; John (Cally), Gerard (Robyn), Steve Cooper, daughters; Betty (Fred) Sanchez, and Kathryn (Michael) McLellan; eight grandchildren; sisters; Anne Marie Stockemer and Mercedes Raple.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 17th, at McGilley State Line Chapel, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 18th, 10:00 a.m., at McGilley State Line Chapel, with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery.
