Dorothy J. Frederick, 82, of Kansas City, MO, died peacefully in her sleep on June 12, 2017, at Oak Grove Nursing & Rehab in Oak Grove. Born September 4, 1934 in Wheatland, MO, she is predeceased by her parents, Jack and Evagene (Gist) Coon.
Dorothy was a registered nurse in Kansas City. She enjoyed gardening, her pets, the Crafty Bunch and watching nature outside her windows.
Survivors include her daughter Mary Drummond, and her two sons, Jim Frederick and Brad Frederick (Candice), sister Jackie Gray, brother Chuck Coon (Mary), six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., with funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 16 at Mount Moriah Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
