Dorothy Ann Mickelson, recently of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026 in Lee's Summit, MO. She was born October 28, 1931, in Minneapolis, MN, to John and Betty Leser. She was an avid bridge player, a bird watcher and faithfully did the daily crossword puzzle. She was a member of several bridge groups over the years and was a member of the parish of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, in Las Vegas. In late 2024 she moved to Lee's Summit to be closer to family members and get the care she needed.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Maury Mickelson. She is survived by two children, Ann Kabanuck and Daniel Mickelson, and their spouses; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Private burial to be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary, in Las Vegas, at a future date.
