Dorothy K. Werner, 85, of Gladstone, MO passed away September 10, 2012.
Dorothy was born October 15, 1926. She was married to Thomas D. Werner for 56 years, before his death in 2003. Dorothy had been a member of St. Charles Catholic Church since 1955. She also worked for JCPenny.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Froncie Kanabel; husband, Thomas D. Werner; daughter, Mary Elaine; infant twin grandsons; 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Survivors include her children, Jan Shebetka; Dodie Doloresco; Polly Lathrop; and Tom Werner; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and brother, Gerald Kanabel.
Visitation will be 6-8pm, Thursday, September 13, 2012 at McGilley Antioch Chapel. Funeral services will be 10am, Friday, at the Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Northcare Hospice, 2800 Clay Edwards Dr, North Kansas City, MO 64116.
