Ole Jay and Ace circa 1972. The epitome of “cool”.  Lifelong buddies. It’s hard to find friends as genuine as they were to each other. We miss a ya Jay and Ace. 

I had many great vacations with Jay and his family while growing up. He was always quick with a funny and kind to me and my family. I sure thought the world of Jay (and Julie too). They were genuine friends to my parents. Rest peacefully now my friend and enjoy spending time with Julie again. Also when you see my ole Pops Ace and you guys start talking over old times, tell him I love him and miss him too.  - Your ole Buddy Dipper Dan -

I was so fond of that man...I knew when he started a sentence with 'Hey Pal' he wanted something and I could never tell him no and neither could my son Brady.  We were fortunate enough to be televised in the American Royal parade with his friends and family of clowns and he was smiling from ear to ear, how wonderful he shared his love of clowning with his family.  I always enjoyed hearing about his days with the phone company and of course his jokes.  He had an ornery twinkle in his eye and a grin that matched but Julie was so kind and gently, the perfect couple.  Our deepest sympathy goes to his family, thanks for sharing great memories in the tribute movie.

How many stories can be told...so many!  The first mixed drink I ever had was a Cahill party, and there was a whisper in my ear, "make sure its just one Pal".  Have to say the most fun was putting on the reunions with him, he obviously had done it for so long, but just great fun.  It has only been three months ago Girls that I traded in his old van, I put 100K miles on it and drove it for as many years as he did, and replaced it with another of the same model, he hooked me.

As tough a transition as this is, can't say I wish he stayed, he just missed his "Julie" way too much, strong as he was, she was his rock.  Love you All, have you in our hearts and always will.

E.Jay and Julie were the coolest parents I knew.  Even out of high school and we were married Jay would call and say"Come on over to play volleyball". He was so funny yet a real sweetheart.  To watch he and Julie together you could see how much they loved each other.  
You will be missed E.Jay!

Thoughts and prayers for the entire family. Jay was a wonderful man. Julie and Jay were such a special couple that made everyone feel welcome. He will truly be missed. Sincere sympathy

The last of the great generation. Uncle Jay will be missed by many and welcomed by many more. He always had words of wisdom or a good joke(you just hoped the joke wasn't on you).  Prayers to his girls and grand kids. Love and miss you Uncle Jay.

Uncle EJay loved to tell me stories of how he and Uncle Tom would tease Mom(Patrica) and Aunt Nappy.  
He said you get into trouble with your brothers but sisters were for having fun!
Uncle Ejay was truly one of the few good men in my childhood and a hood friend as an adult.

Where do I begin...this man had so many roles in my life...father figure, protector, “pal”, the Pete to my Re-Pete, mentor, instructor and the list goes on and on but most of all he was my Gramps. We didn’t say the words “I love you” very often but we didn’t have to...it was always understood. 

My Gramps loved his farm aka Paradise Valley.  He was the toughest of tough but was nicest as could be.  I'll miss the wild and crazy jokes and stories.  

Love you Gramps. Give Gramsie hugs and kisses.
