Eda Marie “Babe” Fahey Riga, 89, passed away on Oct. 19, 2013 at her home in Camdenton, Missouri. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24 at St. Agnes Church, 5250 Mission Rd, and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Babe was born on Nov. 19, 1923 in Kansas City, MO to Thomas and Eda Marie Fahey. She is survived by her husband, Gerald J. Riga; daughters, Kathleen Mary Riga of Galveston, TX and Beth Ann Hutchinson of Fairway, KS; son, Gerald P. Riga of Camdenton, MO; six grandchildren, Shannon, Courtney, Matthew, Keely, Caitlin, and Ryan; and one great-grandson, Jake.
As a devoted and faithful wife she was always at Gerald’s side wherever his work as an engineer and senior manager took them. Together, they resided abroad in Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, and Iran, and stateside in Texas and Oklahoma before retiring in 1996 to their long-time home at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.
