

Our beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Good Friend Edna M. Scahill, 96, was elevated to eternal life on January 11, 2026, in Bolivar, Missouri. Born on September 27, 1929, and a native of Kansas City, Missouri, Edna graduated from East High School in 1946.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alpha Jackson Landingham in 1964; and her second husband, Thomas Jefferson Scahill, Jr. in 2005, her parents, Raymond and Irene Morgan; infant grandson, Joey Price; and her sisters, Sylvia Aldrich and Lois Esker.
Her surviving daughters Debra Ann Price and Ric, Cynthia Leigh Mangan and Bryan, and sons,
Alpha Mark Landingham and Thomas Franklin Scahill. Her grandchildren are Erica Lee and Justin, Kara Price and Chad, Alpha Andrew Landingham and Emma, Luke Landingham and Ashlie, Suzannah Bondi and Robbie, Morgan Lank and Parker Lank. Great-grandchildren include Brennan Bellamy and Lilly, Piper Lee and George Lee.
Edna is also survived by her brother, Ray Morgan and Becky and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Edna touched so many lives with her love, encouragement and generosity. She was a strong woman with a ready smile, the family caregiver and protector.
As a tireless supporter for her church and community, Edna participated to her fullest capacity volunteering, such as, The Spofford Home for Children, Builders Class, Della Lamb, Community Choirs and Raytown Mayoral committees for Seniors and Outreach. Awards for her service included the 2002 Raytown Citizen of the Year Award and the 2002 Jackson County Volunteer Award.
Memorial services will be held at The Ridge – A Community Church, 5055 Blue Ridge Blvd. on Friday, January 16, 2026. Visitation starts at 1pm followed by a Memorial Service at 2pm.
