

A Memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Ivanhoe United Church, 6512 Woodson Rd., Raytown, MO 64133. A private burial will take place at Floral Hills Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.
He had six sisters and four brothers. He grew up in Puerto Rico until he moved to Chicago in his early teens. In his early 20s he moved to Cleveland, Ohio. While attending church in Youngstown, Ohio Espire met the love of his life, Nelly Gomez. They were married on July 8, 1973 and had two beautiful children. He worked for Syracuse Adhesive Company until he moved his family to Kansas City in 1993 to work for Leer. He retired from the company in 2012. He was also a member, along with his wife Nelly, of La iglesia de Dios Church.
He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, a wonderful husband, and a treasured father and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents; six sisters; three brothers; and his daughter, Lisa Concepción Rosa.
Espire is survived by his wife, Nelly, who then passed away ten days later; son, Daniel Concepción (Angela); grandchildren: Immanual and Aixa Rosa and James Concepción; and many other family and friends.
