Evelyn Rose Fisher, 81, of Liberty, MO passed away on October 5, 2013. Visitation from 6-8pm on Wed., Oct. 9th at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel, 11924 E. 47th St. KCMO 64133. Funeral service 12pm (noon) Thurs. at the chapel with burial in Holden Cemetery at 2pm in Holden, MO.
Evelyn was born March 30, 1932 in St. Joseph, MO to Albert & Rosa (Caudill) Haynes. Evelyn loved to bowl. She enjoyed dancing to country music and skiing. She dearly loved spending time with her grandchildren as they were the lights of her life. Evelyn was a “Snow Bird” spending the winters in Bonita Springs, FL, but never until after spending Christmas with her beloved family.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Thomas E. Fisher, Sr. and is survived by her children, Thomas E. Fisher, Jr. & Ryan L. Fisher both of Indep., MO, Karen L. Mundt (Thomas) of Liberty, MO & Susan E. Walker (David L. Sr.) of KCMO; grandchildren, Marcus L., Cory R., Taylor L., Katie E., Jacob A. & Abigail M. Fisher, Douglas L. & Robert T. Mundt, Stacey L. Loughrey, Christina D. Lamb & Kenneth Hoff and 12 great-grandchildren.
