Florinda Pesch

Florinda was affectionately known as “Flo” by her loved ones

Flo moved to Kansas City around the age of 10 and attended Central High School in Kansas City, MO where she met her dearest friend Esther Cooper Dunnington, who would later introduce her to Gary Arthur Pesch, who would become her husband of forty years.

Flo married Gary on January 21 1961 and they became proud parents of Lynda Dianne Pesch and Cheryl Elaine Pesch

Flo loved people and often would take many under her gentle wings. She always found someone to strike up a conversation with. She truly loved bringing joy and music to the world and would often sing. Flo was a proud lady and so understanding and kind to all she encountered.

Later in life she worked for the local school district lovingly greeting children as they entered school with a warm smile and “Welcome! Good Morning and have a wonderful day!“

On October 16, 2021 Flo was called to her Heavenly Home. She was preceded in death by her wonderful husband, Gary Pesch, father Jose Saenz, mother Louella Lowe, sister Mary Villanueva, brother Luis Saenz, sister Hortechia (Tiny) Harris, brother Jose Saenz Jr. and our beloved Daniel V. Mazouch.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter’s Lynda Dianne Hacker-Bristow, Kansas City, MO and her husband John Bristow, as well as Cheryl Elaine Pesch- Gilstrap, Deer Island, OR and her husband Richard D. Gilstrap. Flo cherished her two granddaughters Alanie Hacker and Olivia Hacker and was grateful for and loved all her grandchildren who entered her life, which included Nicholas Bristow, Gage Bristow, Spencer Bristow, Alexandra Bristow, Sean Hacker and Christopher Hacker and her 14 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Ninfa Lopez and brother’s Gilberto Saenz, Leo Saenz, Johnny Saenz and many nieces and nephews.

Flo lived a blessed life loving GOD and was a member of Victory Baptist Church for nearly 50 years. She was extremely kind, forgiving and accepting of all. It is with great sorrow that we lay her to rest, but take comfort in knowing she is with her beloved husband Gary and her beautiful mother Miss Lowe and many dear friends and family eagerly awaiting her. Rest in peace our blessed mother.
