Frances (Fran) Whitaker Peterman

Fran was born on October 4, 1942, in Philadelphia, the second of seven children born to Libby and Jim Whitaker. She attended St. Teresa’s Academy and Avila College in Kansas City.

Fran is survived by her loving husband Bill; her four children and 13 grandchildren; her siblings: Mary Jane Davis, Linda (Bob) Page, Jim (Leslie) Whitaker, John (Marg) Whitaker, and Chris (Kaitlin) Whitaker; and many nieces and nephews.

Fran is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Libby Whitaker; her brother, Billy Whitaker; her brother-in-law, Dick Davis, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Phil and Collette Coolidge; and her nephew, Drew Davis.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Fran’s life was held at Christ the King Church, 830 Elm Street in Denver, CO on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
