Frank W. LaMar, 91, Kansas City, MO, passed away November 6, 2012 at Corner Brook Place Nursing Home. He was born August 18, 1921 in Kansas City, Missouri to Edgar and Laura (Nagel) LaMar. He graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. Frank was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the South Pacific for 2 ½ years. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Norman and Raymond LaMar, and sister Eleanor Hatfield. Frank is survived by his wife Marjorie "Marge" (Harshcer) LaMar, daughter Linda, son Rick (Ann), granddaughter Ashlee, grandson Brandon, twin brother Larry LaMar and brother Edward LaMar. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 11, with services at 3:00 p.m. Monday, November 12, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Entombment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
