He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Gladys Huggins Raupp; his daughter Jill Noyce (Jack), and son Tom (Karla); grandchildren Jay Noyce (Molly), Jenny Noyce (Cory Hoover), Julie Noyce, Michael Raupp (Courtney) and Katie Raupp; 3 great-granddaughters, Ramona and Sylvie Hoover and Sarah Raupp. He is also survived by his brothers Robert and Neal and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Max, Jack, Philip and sister Dorothy.
George was a founding board member of Bannister Bank and owner of Raupp Realty in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a member of Hillcrest Covenant Church, the Belton Historical Society, and served on the board of Union Bank. He served on the board of directors of Stonecroft Ministries and shared his talents on countless projects for faith communities in the Kansas City area.
Funeral service will be held at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. on Thursday, April 16, with visitation at 10:00 am followed by service at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64145.
