Glen E. Jones, 97, passed Jan 4, 2016. Funeral service will be 10am, Monday Jan 11, 2016, at Floral Hills. Family will receive friends beginning at 9am. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Glen was born, December 10, 1918, in Howard Lake, Minnesota. He served in WWII as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. Glen retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
He was preceded in death by his father Harry Jones, mother Violet, stepfather Ervin Gausman, brothers: Vern Jones, William Gausman, and first wife, Ruth Jean
Survivors include his wife, Frances; stepchildren and their spouses: Nancy and Bruce Cronk, Jerry and Tracy Lunn, Jim and Debbie Lunn; brothers : Robert Gausman, Kenneth Gausman and wife Martha; grandchildren: Chris Cronk, Chad Cronk, Mickey Cronk, Scott Lunn, Jamie Overton, Audrey; Lunn;
14 great grandchildren; nephews: Gary Jones, Curt Jones, Danny Jones; nieces: Bonita Jones, Lynn Forare, Rita Weber, Susan Umhoefer.
