Gloria Anne Turntine, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the age of 80. She was born on January 8, 1946, in Kansas City, MO, where she grew up. Gloria graduated from Southeast High School in 1964 and began college from home due to her allergies. She worked in bookkeeping, typographics, and medical coding. Gloria was a member of the Rebecca Lodge 13. She enjoyed ancestry and spent volumes of time on the computer tracing her family back to Europe.
Preceding her in death was her mother, Waunita Wilma Arrasmith, and her grandparent, Roy Pennock. She held Wayne Pennock, her uncle, in high regard. She is survived by her son, Kevin R. Turntine of Denver, CO, and daughter, Lisa Rooney of Des Moines, IA.
Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services at Mount Moriah Cemetery on Friday, February 27, at 1:00 p.m. Due to scheduling, please gather at the Temple Mausoleum prior to leaving for the gravesite. Mount Moriah Cemetery is located at 105th and Holmes Road (just south of I-435), Kansas City, MO.
