Greg V. Glidewell, 74, of Milan, MO, died August 19, 2017, in Kansas City, MO. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jean Anne (Gray) Glidewell; his three sons, Todd, Tony, and Tim Glidewell; his daughter, Trudy Blankenship; his daughter-in-law, Gayle Glidewell; his son-in-law, Josh Blankenship; his grandchildren, Hannah and Grace Glidewell, and Trey Glidewell. From farming in his youth to being a successful hardware store owner, Greg was a hard worker who proudly loved his family. His farming background proved to be beneficial because in retirement he presided over a vast tomato garden. He also enjoyed working on automobiles and tinkering in his barn. His love of telling stories (often the same ones!) provided much laughter for his family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, August 25, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Floral Hills Cemetery: 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO, 64133. A mausoleum service will be held Saturday, August 26, at 10:00 A.M. in the Mount Olivet Chapel: 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO, 64138.
