Grenfell Simeon (Ed) Woodward, 83, Raymore, Mo., passed away October 1, 2015. Son of the late Walter Simeon Woodward and Bertha Emma Constance, he is survived by his wife, Asenet, and his five children, Sene Woodward Gray, Walter Woodward, Randy Woodward, Eddy Woodward, and Scott Woodward, as well as nine grandchildren, Logan, Ashton, Dawson, Isabel, Connor, Alyssa, Emma, Amanda, and Sean, a great grandson, Jexon and a sister, Constance Sperry. His oldest son, Grenfell Jr., preceded him in passing.
Ed was a carpenter by trade and member of the construction workers' union. He was a proud member of the Boy Scouts of America, troop leader for all his sons' troops, and followed in his father's footsteps as an Eagle Scout.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m., October 5 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Funeral Home with funeral services to follow. Burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery South.
