

Harvey Dee Mushaney, 81 of Independence MO, loved to work on cars and retired from Armco Union Wiring, then retired from Yellow Cab Taxi as a mechanic. He was born November 26, 1940 in Vernon Co MO, then later moved to Kansas City, MO where he lived most of his life, then moved to Independence, MO for the remainder of his life.
He was a family man that loved history, loved this country, and loved the family history of Genealogy of his family, children and grandkids and treasured every memory and moment. On December 10, 2021 Wednesday at 7:55 pm God gave him his heavenly wings and called him to his heavenly home.
Harvey was preceded in death by his father Louis Edgar Mushaney and his mother Ettie Ray Brown. He is survived by his wife Nancy Joyce Gammill Mushaney of 35 years where he was a devoted loving husband and a loving godly father to his three surviving daughters: Lisa A. Berry, Brenda K. Edwards and Pamela A. Willis and survived by 8 Grandchildren: Eric Berry, Annette Edwards Roche, Jackson Daugherty, Tiffany Edwards, Mariah Daugherty, Andrea Berry, Soraya Edwards and Jazymne Edwards and survived by two Great Grandchildren : Mya Townser and Joey Roche. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Clarence, Wayne, Kenny, Glen and Don and survived by his sister Wauneta Mushaney Kirby.
Pallbearers are Donnie Weeks, Tim Roche, Gary Edwards, Dean Kirby, Randy Freeborn, Chris Reedy, and David Mushaney.
Funeral services is provided by Newcomer’s Sons, Floral Hills Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. (816) 353-1218
Services will be held Wednesday December 15, 2021, visitation from 9-10 am and service 10am service held with Pastor John Martz , then following gravesite service.
