

Hazel was born in Clarksburg, Missouri on November 12, 1929. She led her best life, she seen everything from no running water, electricity, to horses and buggy up to all modern things today.
She went through The Great Depression and World War II. She moved to K.C. in 1962, then moved to Centerview in 1980. She gave birth to four kids, and was a member of the Lutheran Church. She lived for the last six years with her son and one year and two months in Windsor Healthcare. Hazel was a very loving person and very good mother to her kids and all her grandkids.
Hazel worked very hard all her life as a cake decorator in a bakery and then a daycare for 23 kids and mostly a good mother and wife.
We will all miss her very much. Hazel is survived by her four kids: Carolyn, Roger, Amy, and Lynda. Hazel had 9 grandkids and 17 great grandkids and still counting. She had terminal dementia and many other things.
May God bless her and rest in peace, she will be missed and we love you.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133).
A funeral will follow on the same day starting at 2:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133).
We will conclude with a graveside Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133).
