Helen M Lamoy

Helen Marie (Klamm) Lamoy, 85, of Kansas City, MO, died July 14, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Monday, July 18th at St. Therese Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be at East Slope Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Northcare Hospice.

Helen was born in Kansas City and was a lifelong Platte County, MO. resident. She graduated from Kansas City University and received a master’s degree from Central Missouri State, Warrensburg, MO.

Helen began teaching in 1943 and retired from the Park Hill School District in 1985. Helen had been a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Parkville since its founding.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Rawland Lamoy; her son, Billy Lamoy; and brothers John Klamm and Bill Klamm. She is survived by daughters Anne Lamoy, of Kansas City, KS, and Martha Lamoy and son-in-law David –Mark Campbell, of Olathe; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Carolyn Klamm, of Prairie Village, KS, Walter and Betty Klamm, of Gladstone, and Phil and Shirly Klamm, of Cedarville, WI, and sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and George Calvert, of Mission, KS, and Dorothy and Dick Scurlock, of Kansas City, North.
