Howard Wayne Johnson

Funeral and burial will be 2:00 p.m Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Floral Hills with Visitation preceding.

Growing up in Raytown, MO, he met his wife of 43 years at Raytown South High School where he graduated in 1967 and later graduated from the University of Missouri, Rolla with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. Wayne went on to spend decades as an Aerospace Engineer at Bendix, which was later Allied Signal and Honeywell.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorrie L. and parents Howard E. and Margaret L. Johnson of Raytown. He is survived by his adoring daughters Amy L. Johnson and fiancé George B. Schreyer, Independence, MO; and Angela Johnson-Lewis, Virginia Beach, VA.

He is also survived by his sister Earlene Wise of Pleasant Hill, MO and sister-in-law Patricia Austin of Raytown, MO; many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
