Jacob "Jake" Blacksher

Visitation is Sunday, August 26 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Antioch Bible Baptist Church, 800 NE 72nd Street, Gladstone, MO. Funeral is Monday, August 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM, also at the church. Burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery, Gladstone, MO.

Jake was born July 11, 1988 in Olathe, KS to Mike and Sue (East) Blacksher. A life-long resident of the Kansas City area, he grew up in the Northland and married Tavessa Strauss. He loved to talk about food, music and movies.

Preceding Jake in death are his grandmothers, Lorna Morrison and Darlene East; and an uncle, Randy Blacksher.

Survivors include his wife, Tavessa Blacksher; son Korben Dallas Blacksher; parents Mike and Sue Blacksher; brothers Caleb (Jessica) Blacksher and Nathanael (Crissy) Blacksher; grandfathers Jay (Phyllis) Blacksher and David East; grandmother Bessie (Carl) Fagan; and two nieces and four nephews.
