On January 21, at 2:58pm, Earth lost and heaven gained an incredible Father, grandfather, husband and friend, as Jude Christensen passed into the presence of his Friend and Savior Jesus Christ, whom he followed passionately for over 15 years. Jude was born in Bauxite, Arkansas to James and Eva Christensen on July 29, 1917. He spent the majority of his years in Independence, MO. He brought joy to all he knew, even to the end. All who knew Jude loved him. His smile was so joyful it was contagious. His unmistakable laugh rang out in a room, inviting you to laugh along with him. Jude was the strongest man physically and the most tender and loving emotionally; humble and full of integrity -which everyone found to be an amazing combination. Once he smiled at you, you were forced to just hand over your heart, for he had won it and you couldn't get it back if you tried. A father that will forever be his son's hero; a grandfather that loved without measure; a husband that served selflessly and loved endlessly; and a friend that changed everyone's lives for the better. He will be missed immensely; but he will be celebrated forever in our hearts, until we meet again.
