James was born at Washington Hospital in Takoma Park, Maryland.
He was preceded in death by his parents David Carlton Eiker and Marguerite Ruth Blick.
When Jim was 14 the Eiker's moved to Raytown, MO. Jim Graduated from Raytown High School in 1961.
He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Park College in 1966.
Jim was very devoted to his family and enjoyed the family pets. He will be tremendously missed.
Jim is survived by his wife Paula; sons, Richard and David (Christina) and grandson, Mikael.
Family will hold private services. The family would like to recognize Christina Eiker and ACG Hospice for the outstanding care provided to Jim.
