James Dean Nofsinger went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 4, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine, of nearly 69 years of marriage. He is also survived by two sons, Kent and wife Jean and Kirk and wife Vickie, and six grandchildren. Dean was a loving husband, father and friend. He was the son of James B. and Eva Nofsinger, born in Franklin County. Dean graduated from Lane High School and business college. He served in WWII in Wyandotte County and Okinawa. Dean was a salesman and real estate broker.
Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 8, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
