MSgt Jasper D. Youmans, 81, of Smithville, MO passed away Sunday March 24, 2013 at NorthCare Hospice House. Visitation will be 1:00 - 2:00 pm Wednesday March 27th at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home. Funeral services are private. Entombment will be in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to NorthCare Hospice House.
Jasper was born January 4, 1932 in Early Branch, SC, the son of Julian and Daisy Rice Youmans. He retired from the United States Air Force, last serving under the MAC Office of the Inspector General at Scott AFB, IL. He later was employed by Clay County Parks Department and Big V Supermarket in Smithville, MO. Survivors include his wife, Karen, daughter, Joyce (Matt Campbell) of Chapel Hill, NC, sister, Marilee Blakley, of Palmyra, VA and several nieces and a nephew.
