Jerry Ereth, 78 of Smithville, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 2:30 followed by memorial service at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd KCMO. Jerry worked in the printing industry for all of his adult life, retiring from Greystone Graphics in 2001. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. Jerry is survived by his wife, Cheri Plaskett Ereth, of the home; children, Jeff (Jodi), Rick, Bryan, Jill Harter, William Mitchell (Dorian), Paul Mitchell (Linde), Melissa Brick (Gregg); 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and sister, Catherine Dunlop. The family would like to thank nurses, Caroll and Lucretia, at St. Luke's North Hospital and all of the staff at St. Luke's Hospice House for their care and attention.
