Jerry Dale Morris

Jerry Dale Morris, age 62, passed away peacefully on August 20th, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on June 10th, 1960 in Kansas City, Kansas but grew up in Lawrence and then later Kansas City.

He was married to Archiella “Bunny” Taylor on May 29th, 1991 in Arkansas. Jerry worked as an assistant manager at Marvin's Chiropractic Clinic for 45 years. In his free time, Jerry could be found practicing the bass guitar for one of his gigs on the upcoming weekend or making the best of spending time with his daughters and son-in-law. Jerry always had the ability to make people smile or laugh, he was always the one to help anyone in need, Jerry never let anyone do without, although stubborn as a bull at times, he was truly one of the kindest souls you’d ever meet.

He was preceded in death by his birth parents, Coy Morris and Hazel Hafferkamp; his step-mother, Doris Morris; and his brother, Terry Morris. He is succeeded in life by his wife, Archiella “Bunny”; his two daughters, Brianna and Cheyenne; his son-in-law, Christopher Griffin; his three sisters, Debra Bruns, Paula Warriner and Nancy Frank; along with multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
