Joel L. Eastwood, 92, of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Olathe Medical Center. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 14, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Inurnment at a later date in Forest Hill Cemetery. Mr. Eastwood was born January 26, 1918 in Kansas City, Missouri, son of Wilber L. and Sada (Hickock) Eastwood. He had worked as a Building Inspector for Kansas City. He was a United States Army veteran, serving during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Steve L. Eastwood. He is survived by his wife Evelyn L.
