Joelle E Fasenmyer

Joelle Elizabeth Fasenmyer, age 85, passed away at Overland Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, July 2nd, 10:00 a.m., at Cure of Ars Church, 9401 Mission Road, Leawood, KS, with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Overland Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 6501 West 75th St., Overland Park, KS, 66204.

Joelle was born Mary 28, 1927, in Kansas City, Kansas. She graduated from St. Peter’s Catholic Grade School, Bishop Ward High School and attended St. Mary College in Leavenworth, KS. Joelle spent most of her career as a dental assistant in Santa Monica, California, before retiring to Kimberling City, MO. Joelle will be remembered for her courage, zest and smile. She was a gift to all who knew her.

Joelle was preceded in death by her sister, Sara Robinson and by her parents, Sada and Tony Fasenmyer. She is survived by her sister, Sr. Mary Sarah Fasenmyer, her brothers, A.C. Fasenmyer and Thomas Fasenmyer (Faye), and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff and friends at Overland Park Nursing and Rehabilitation for their kindness and care extended to her over these many years.
