AVIS DE DÉCÈS

John Anthony Wesselmann

17 septembre 1972 – 25 mars 2021
Avis de décès de John Anthony Wesselmann
AUX SOINS DE

McGilley State Line Chapel

John Wesselmann, 48, passed away, much too early, on March 25, 2021. He was born Sept. 17, 1972, in Kansas City, Missouri.

John attended Texas A&M and University of Texas. He graduated with a B.S in Management Information Systems. He loved his work as a Software developer which he did for Koch-Glitsch in Dallas and then Wichita. He moved to Kansas City to be closer to family and continued developing Software for DXC Technology in Overland Park.

John was a passionate and loyal sports fan. John could recite numbers and statistics about players and teams. He had a quick wit and an excellent memory and always had a joke to tell or a movie line to quote. He enjoyed his annual Fantasy football draft trips to fun places with exciting activities. He was excellent at any kind of trivia, and had vast knowledge of every subject.

He will be mourned by his parents Liz and Eddie Gangriwala; father Doug Wesselmann (Debra); brother, Adam; sister Amy (Beau); niece Hailey and nephews Garrett and Aryck; his step-siblings Vincent, Madolin and Hannah; and his many friends. John was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Wesselmann, and his loving dog, Duke.

Due to the need for safety and social distancing, family and close friends will privately celebrate John’s life.
