
John Anthony “Tony” Wolf Sr., 67, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011. Visitation held at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel from 6-8pm on Wednesday, Aug. 3rd. Funeral service 10am at the chapel on Thursday with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Tony was born in Kansas City, MO on June 5, 1944 to Joseph & Frances Wolf. He graduated from Raytown High School in 1964. Tony was an Eagle Scout in Troop # 143 and a Warrior of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He was a Sergeant for the Jackson County Sheriff’s Patrol and was employed for over 40 years at Washer Equipment Inc. in Springfield and Kansas City. Tony enjoyed gardening and loved to tell a good joke. He was a loving and caring person who was always there to help family & friends. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a son, John “David” Webb. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Edna; three sons, John Wolf Jr. of Lee’s Summit, MO, Mark & Lori Webb of Lexington, MO and Howard & Wendy Wolf of Polo, MO; three daughters, Christine & Aaron Armstrong of Independence, MO, Sharon & Brett Lauderdale of Tonganoxie, KS and Kim & Dan Gorman of Independence, MO; a brother, James & Ann Wolf of Mission, KS; 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
