

Joshua Thomas Frutchey, born November 20, 1989, died suddenly Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Josh is survived by his mother, Crystal Frutchey Miller, and his stepfather, Cary Miller, of Kansas City, Missouri; his maternal grandparents, Joyce and David Frutchey, of Petaluma California; his paternal grandmother, Gail Gola, and step-grandfather, John Gola, of Dayton, Nevada; his paternal grandfather, Scott Hoeninghaus, of San Antonio, Texas; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Josh was preceded in death by his father, Brian Hoeninghaus. Josh was born in Santa Rosa, California, and loved all things California. He was a wonderful artist who devoted his talents to tattooing, making jewelry, writing, poetry, and playing the guitar. He was an avid skateboarder and a good friend to many. Josh was dearly loved by his family. All who knew him will miss his engaging personality and his bright and shining soul. A visitation is scheduled for 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 9 at Mount Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Burial will follow at Mount Moriah Cemetery. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 9, at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, Wesley Covenant Chapel, 13720 Roe Avenue, Leawood, Kansas at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be sent to Atchison Valley Hope Rehabilitation Services, 1816 North Second Street, Atchison, Kansas, 66002.
