Joyce Elizabeth Potts, age 90, of Independence, MO, went home to be with her Lord on June 3, 2014. Funeral to be held at 10AM on Saturday, June 7 at Floral Hills Funeral Home, with visitation 8:30AM-10AM, burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 68 years Edward, her children Lance Potts (Nancy), Dawn Shepherd (Randy), Lianne Sackett (Kirk), and Ryan Potts (Pamela); 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and siblings David Mertell, Troy Mertell, Wayne Mertell, and Treva Poe.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ildia A. and Syble E. Mertell.
Joyce was a charter member of Rockwood Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Rockwood Baptist Church.
