Juanita Hamilton

Juanita Elizabeth Hamilton, 1928 – 2017 was born to Paul and Elsa Geilert. She had 2 sisters and 2 brothers who have proceeded her in death. On April 8th, 1961 Juanita married her sweetheart, Wayne Hamilton. The couple had 2 beautiful girls, Kim Hamilton Wadas of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Kipp Hamilton Wilhoit of Oak Grove, Missouri. Possessing a true servant’s heart, Juanita faithfully cared for husband Wayne for the past 56 years of marriage. Nothing brought more happiness to her life than her 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. With a real zest for life, Juanita loved to read, play board games, clean house, prepare homecooked meals, share holidays with the family and travel…just to name a few. Juanita was known for her loving, caring, unselfish and giving approach to relationships. Throughout her life, she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many who even now are being changed by her witness of continual nurturing love and faith. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiles, laughter and positive spirit will never be forgotten. A woman of faith, Juanita exemplified all the best qualities of a virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31: 10-31. In verse 28 it says,“Her children arise up and call her blessed; her husband [also], and he praiseth her.” How fortunate we all are to have called her our Wife, Mother, Grandma and friend. Her surviving family members are numerous and include: Wayne Hamilton – Loving Husband, Kim Hamilton Wadas – Daughter, Dave Wadas – Son in Law, Jeffery Wadas, Steven Wadas, Michelle Wadas, Kevin Wadas (deceased), Sarah Wadas (deceased) – Grand Children/Kipp Hamilton Wilhoit – Daughter, John Wilhoit – Son in Law, Colson Wilhoit, Cami Wilhoit, Cayla Wilhoit, Kenton Wilhoit – Grand Children, Jolie Wilhoit, Elisabeth Duncan – Great Grand Children. Visitation will be held Saturday October 14th at Floral Hills Chapel/Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. at 1:00pm followed by a Memorial service at 2:00.
