

Judith A. Harford, 70, of Belton, Missouri, passed away January 24, 2011, due to COPD related complications. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 29, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Inurnment in Mt. Herman Cemetery in Pettis County, Sedalia, Missouri will be announced at a later date. Judy was born December 13, 1940 to Charles and Sydney (Rumsey) Eakins. She attended School of the Osage in Lake Ozark, Missouri. Judy worked many years for BMA, after retiring from BMA, she worked for DST & Continium, CSC. After retiring she moved to Sedalia, Missouri but returned to Belton, Missouri to be close to her family. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Eakins, sister Jo Karen Brittingham and brother Charles Eakins. She is survived by two sons Sid (Kelly) Kuns, Phillip Kuns, three granddaughters Courtney Kuns, Samantha Wilson, Shelby Davisson, her mother Sydney Eakins, siter Jeanne (Don) Dzurick, brother Jeffrey Eakins, many nieces and one nephew. Judy’s favorite thing was a good book and a glass of wine; she was especially fond of the time she spent with her granddaughters. Nothing she enjoyed more than taking good road trips with her family and friends. Judy was loved and will be dearly missed by her family. Condolences may be made at www.mtmoriah-freeman.com.
