Katherine L. “Kate” Carter, 59, of Kansas City, MO passed away June 26th 2013 at NorthCare Hospice House. Her memorial service will be Sunday, June 30th at 2pm with visitation 1 hour prior to service at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Interment Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Wayside Waifs at 3901 Martha Truman Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64137. She was born July 10, 1953 in Washington, D.C. to William “Bill” and Tjwanna Carter. She worked as a Senior Customer Representative at Ortran, Inc. She is preceded in death by her mother, Tjwana M. Carter. She is survived by father, Bill Carter; brother, Bob Carter and niece, Cameron Carter.
