

She was the daughter of Lewis James Lee and Delia Leota (Rouse) Lee. She was preceeded in death by her parents and her brothers, Lewis James (L.J.) and Gerald (Jerry) Lee.
She is survived by her daughter Brenda (Tuohey) York, son Michael Tuohey, son-in-law Christopher, daughter-in-law Merrily, five grandchildren Delia Tuohey, Jillian (Tuohey) Oakes, Moria Tuohey, Zachary York, Cameron York, and two great-grandchildren Olivia Oakes and Trae Oakes.
Kathleen retired from the Mobay Corporation (now Bayer) and then volunteered at the Jackson County Historical Society Archives.
Kathleen “Kathy” was a history buff and was especially proud to be related to Robert E. Lee.
A memorial service will be held at the historic Pitcher Cemetery in Independence, on Blue Ridge Cutoff between E 33rd Street and Blue Ridge Blvd. next to Roberts Park on Sunday, September 4, 2011 from 2-4pm with tributes and remembrances at 2:30.
