KeVante loved football, especially The Kansas City Chiefs, and Golf, along with many other sports, but he excelled himself, at Football and Wrestling in particular. KeVante loved animals, reptiles and arachnids!!
He also enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially fishing, bike riding and hiking. His passion was motorcycles, dirt bikes, motocross, four-wheeling, mudding and of course cars-fast ones, anything with wheels and an engine! A passion shared by all the Jackson men, grandfather, father, uncles and cousins alike.
KeVante was not simply alive, he absolutely loved living and was absolutely fearless. At his core, he had a heart that genuinely investested in people of all walks of life. So much so that he insisted on taking up residence in downtown Kansas City, MO (Library Lofts), making very special relationships with neighbors, business owners, and caring for the homeless.
KeVante graduated From North Kansas City High School, was a Marketing Executive in Sales, in the Home Improvement Industry, Automobile Industry and was passionate about his Real Estate endeavours. Although his physical health was declining day by day, KeVante took on new endeavours such as supporting a local music artist & friend Nicole Springer, by helping bring to life a music video called “Good Time”, a song he so much loved.
KeVante was also a very active and inspiring support person in the ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) community, and was in the process of filming a documentary called…”And Yet I smile.” The family will be sure to see this vision through on his behalf, and for the benefit of other persons and families struck by this devastating condition (ALS).
KeVante was striving to be... beyond a millionaire in this lifetime; to build generational wealth for his children, build parks (which he loved), homeless shelters, travel the world, and look sexy (his words) while accomplishing these great things and so much more! However, at age 28, he was called home to do Great Big Things, Most Excellent Divine things with his creator instead.
KeVante in his own words, believed anything was possible through God. The most important journey in his life was being a present and loving father to his children - in this area falling short was not an option, and he talked with God often for strength and direction in this area. KeVante’s personality & smile lit up everyone’s face, he never wanted anyone to feel sad or sorry for him, in or out of a wheelchair - he simply wanted to accomplish everything on his bucket list. Truth is, KeVante was too busy living and far too competitive to fret dying much at all!
KeVante was preceded in death by his father; Kevin L. Jackson, grandfather; Willis Jackson, a well known businessman and master of skill in the construction industry, acknowledged by National Geographic in July 1976 (Vol. 150, No 1), uncle; Aaron Jackson, uncle Athon (Hoss) Jackson; aunt Bridgette Jackson.
