He was a very loving son and brother who also cherished his dogs Sparky, Marleigh, and Mishka. For most of his life, Kevin struggled with mental illnesses. Despite valiantly and persistently battling them with the love and support of his family, his illnesses proved to be insurmountable and led to his passing.
Kevin was very creative and skilled in multiple areas, including music, computer technology, and film.
He is survived by his parents Linda and Jim, his sister Hilary, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will keep him in their hearts.
There will not be a public service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Kevin may be made to Wayside Waifs Animal Shelter (link below), 3901 Martha Truman Rd., Kansas City, MO 64137, where Kevin volunteered and from where he adopted two of his dogs.
