

She graduated from Brownell Talbot High School in Omaha, NE and attended the University of Kansas and graduated from The University of Nebraska Omaha in 1982 with a degree in Business Administration.
After graduation, she moved to Kansas City and started her career in retail. She met her husband, Dan, in Kansas City, and they were married in Omaha, NE on August 17, 1985. Their marriage was blessed with three loving children.
Kim used her many talents to bring beauty to the world. She was a wonderful seamstress, an avid gardener, had an impeccable sense of personal style as well as an exceptional eye and passion for interior design. Kim generously shared her talents and so many of her friends and family benefited from her many gifts. There was nothing she couldn’t do.
Kim is survived by her husband, Dan Slickman; her children, Karie Wheeler (Tevin), Matthew Slickman (Kassidy), Joseph Slickman (Brianna Childs); her grandson, Paul Slickman; her sister, Karie Cross (Robert); sister-in-law, Janet Kiger; niece, Sara Herrin; her nephews, JJ and Colin Cross and by many beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Karen Kiger; her brother, Ron Kiger Jr; and nephew, Michael Kiger.
Her kind, honest and generous spirit will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
Kimberlee's visitation will begin at 10:00am, followed by her Celebration of Life Service at noon on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO.
Immediately following the service, everyone is invited to a celebration gathering at Coach's Bar and Grill (College Location) at 6700 College Blvd, Overland Park, KS 66211.
